Although not large, the room was bright and very well appointed with excellent storage space, place to use the computer and a very comfortable bed. Despite facing Parramatta Road, there was no traffic noise due to the double layer of glazing. The room and bathroom appeared to be relatively recently modernized. I found it a very pleasant room that worked well. The air conditioning is efficient and completely quiet. There is parking available in the courtyard areas and in the basement area but parking is limited and each night, on returning at about 10pm, I managed to get the last parking space in the secure area. However, there is ample free parking available in a side street about 150m away. There is plenty of room out the front to unload or load luggage. For people who include McDonald's in their definition of food, there is an outlet very close by. There are bus stops close by on both Parramatta Road and on Ramsay St, each a few minutes walk away. Summer Hill train station is about 15 minutes' walk. The closest good cafes and restaurants are in Ramsay St, about 8 minutes' walk away. The street is full of excellent cafes and bakeries, mostly Italian. There is pleasant walking in suburban Haberfield and Leichhardt with beautiful Federation houses and the harbourside is about a 20 minute walk from the motel.

Loved loved the room and the bath!!!! I asked for a bath and I soaked for hours as I was tired and sore as I work all over nsw regional areas cleaning up flood affected areas schools and businesses. I needed a pool and I also haven’t been in the ocean for years so did that. It was convenient but had to have a car as it was quite hilly and shops a distance especially at night but mostly convenient and safe. I enjoyed it all and it was not overly expensive but along with renting a car from Sydney and then two nights there I did spend a lot of money but got everything I wished for and more. I’d do it again!!! Can’t find fault and your staff wonderful professional friendly easy going and service brilliant! The young man who I checked in with was so helpful and kind and late at night the female who was so kind and so friendly and helpful as I was extremely tired and she accommodated me as did the cleaners giving me time to bathe! Lol thank u I fell in love with Newcastle and the area so much so that I asked to be given work around there if ever there is a need and would love to relocate to Newcastle area. Thank u I would recommend to everyone!

This was a return stay at Quality Inn Haberfield because I had such a great experience last time. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good showers, awesome beds, and plenty of space. All the appliances and utilities are in good condition … it has that nice feeling that things have been taken care of. Check in and check out were smooth, and all the staff I’ve met have been great. Nick is friendly and welcoming, Jason is helpful and kind, and Yuna is so lovely and thoughtful … and a total champion last time I stayed and locked my keys in the boot! (I hope I have those names right!) The main road location makes it easy to get to, and quick to head out of town too. The rooms are still quiet. Head out the door and down Dalhousie Street for heaps of food options and - if you like continental delis - a fabulous supermarket. I will definitely be back, and I’m happy to recommend. Thank you for all you do to make people’s stays so nice.

The area in which this accommodation is located is quieter than the city, even-though it’s next to a highway. It’s easily accessible and found by uber and other ride share services, a bus stop (that provides transport to the train) is only a couple of minutes walk away and there is a service station open 24/7 just next door with necessities you may need. There is an elevator in this facility which made it easy for me to transport my luggage to any floor I was reserved to. The beds and pillows are nice firm, the way I prefer it and the bedding was clean.

The location of the hotel was perfect for the purpose of our trip. Easy to get to and from Sydney Olympic Park each day, It was also conveniently located close to the shops in Haberfield which were a short walk away which meant there was no need to take the car unless you needed too. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I was travelling alone with my daughter and we felt safe and secure in our room and the hotel.
